The Explorers Club Washington Group, Public Relations Committee, was formed to educate the public about The Explorers Club and the importance of scientific exploration. The committee has created a members speakers bureau to present programs on exploration to local high school students, the scouting program and civic or professional organizations like the Smithsonian Institution.
