By joining The Explorers Club you are joining an International Organization whose world headquarters is the Lowell Thomas Building located in New York City at 46 East 70th Street New York, NY 10021. Individuals that live within a fifty-mile radius of the New York headquarters constitute the group known as Resident Members. Non-Resident members are organized into approximately thirty national and international chapters. The Explorers Club Washington Group Inc. (ECWG) is one of the largest chapters and encompasses the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
